ENIGMA Racing

ENIGMA syndicates are the perfect way to own affordable shares in quality horses.

Through our share system, we have experienced ownership at the highest level on a budget within the reach of ordinary racing people.

In 2016, ENIGMA syndicates won three Listed stakes, a Group 3 and a Group 1. We even managed 2nd in the St Leger.

Yet most of our shares cost £250 or less.

Main trainers

Flat: Richard Hannon, Richard Fahey, Mark Johnston, Sir Mark Prescott, David O'Meara, Roger Charlton, Marco Botti, Kevin Ryan, Karl Burke & Gordon Elliott.

National Hunt: Nicky Henderson, Gordon Elliott, Jess Harrington, David Pipe & Ben Pauling.

"Real ownership, with prize money, yard visits and badges to go racing..."

How it works

ENIGMA Racing brings together people interested in splitting the cost of buying a racehorse share.

Typically, we purchase 2.5% to 15%, split between 12 to 20 people.

Shooting for big prizes

Taking on the super rich isn't easy, but by pooling our money we can greatly increase the quality of horse we can afford to buy.

This gives us a realistic budget to buy into classy prospects, to help us compete for major prizes.

The bloodstock

Shares are purchased through close connections with some of the biggest UK racehorse managers.

The horses we buy into were valued at anything up to £125,000 at auction.

But dividing the cost, we aim to bring our share price down to under £250.

Faq's

Q: Is there a monthly payment for training fees? No. The share price includes all the initial training fees - we just top up the kitty once per year, which usually costs between £70 and £110 per share.

Q: Can I visit the yard? You are invited to attend regular visits and gallop mornings. We visit most yards around 4 times a year. These tend to be very social occasions!

Q: How do I apply for an Owners' & Trainers' badge to go racing? You just email for badges. Some badges will be free, others are paid for on collection at cost price. For really big meetings, we simply run a ballot for those we can obtain.

How to purchase

The shares are exclusive to members of the ENIGMA forum - our specialist online horse racing community.

Membership is £79.99 per year by direct debit, or £84.99 by card.

New syndicates form all the time - simply become an ENIGMA member to have the pick of new arrivals.

"I thought the Hamdan runners would swallow him up and then he just accelerated and stretched away. This Enigma Racing lark, just gets better and better...."
