Ventura Storm wins the Gran Premio Jockey Club Group 1

ENIGMA Racing syndicates

If you don't have fortunes to spend on owning racehorse shares, we think it's a lot more fun to own a small share in something with big potential.

Since our first runners appeared in summer 2014, ENIGMA Racing syndicates have enjoyed over 50 winners. In 2016 we won three listed stakes, a Group 3 and a Group 1. We even placed in a British Classic.

Yet most of our shares cost around £200 or less.

How we went from zero to Group 1 winners in just 3 summers, is an amazing story - in the process making 18 of our members Group 1 winning owners in the sport of kings.

The trainers

Excellent yards north and south, including champion trainers, classic winners and rising stars:

Flat: R Hannon, R Fahey, D O'Meara, R Charlton, Sir M Prescott, H Palmer, K Ryan, Joseph O'Brien, J Osborne, R Fell & K Dalgleish.

National Hunt: N Henderson, A King, W Greatrex, Ben Pauling & K Dalgleish.

"I thought the Hamdan runners would swallow him up and then he just accelerated and stretched away. This Enigma Racing lark, just gets better and better...."

ENIGMA Racing brings together groups of people interested in splitting the cost of buying a share in a quality prospect - like you might do with friends, but on a more organised basis.

By splitting a share into smaller pieces, we hugely reduce the cost of ownership to hobby levels of outlay.

We achieve this through close personal connections with top syndicators like Middleham Park Racing.

Our syndicates have enabled all sorts of people to fulfil the dream of ownership - and as we only buy quality prospects, at a much higher level than they could otherwise afford. At these prices you can even build your own string of horses.

We have already fielded runners at most of the top GB flat meetings, plus international fixtures like Arc day and the Irish 2000 Guineas.

We've had winners in the UK, France, Germany & Italy and our National Hunt division is now ready to unleash some fine prospects for the winter 2016-17 season.

"We offer true ownership at affordable prices. Every syndicate is a registered owner and the syndicate members receive a full share of any prize money or proceeds on sale"

How to purchase

The shares are available exclusively to members of the ENIGMA forum. Once you become a member you are eligible to purchase shares in any new syndicate formed.

ENIGMA began life as a betting research forum. That side of things remains very successful - but many members also now join for the bloodstock shares, and of course many people join for both.

Enigma membership is £79.99 per year by direct debit, or £84.99 by card.

If you'd like to chat about joining, we'd be delighted to hear from you. Just email:

" get these results is some accomplishment. My grateful thanks from a nobody in Devon, because all my impossible teenage dreams are now being realised."

Q: Is there a monthly payment for training fees? No. The share price we quote includes the initial training fees. When that runs out you pay a small lump sum once per year, usually between £70 and £90 less your share of any prize money.

Q: Can I visit the yard? You are invited to attend regular visits and gallop mornings. We visit most yards around 4 or 5 times a year, these tend to be very social occasions!

Q: How do I apply for an Owners' & Trainers' badge to go racing? You email the syndicator for badges. Some badges will be free, others are paid for on collection at cost price. For really big meetings there may be a ballot for those we can obtain.

Q: Are there any other costs? We pay an all-inclusive rate for upkeep which includes all vets' bills and normal costs of racing. Entry fees, horse transport abroad and insurance (if arranged) are extra but just deducted from prize money. Everything is summarised in an annual statement.

Q: How long is my commitment? The shares are designed to be kept for the natural life of the syndicate. However if a horse proves disappointing, as a syndicate we can hand the share back and walk away any time after the first 12 months. All decisions by simple majority vote.
